This is so perfect, the music, the rythm, the montage, the movement... The actress playing the rich wife/mother is underrated. She had to play someone who is still likable even though you're also gonna hate her. Edit: I guess some people didn't pick up her snobby side. There wasn't suppose to be an obvious villain in the character- each had bad and good side. The rich wife/mother did things like put her feet near the face of poor father/husband when he was driving which is really disrespectful in Asian culture. She threw in English to show off her education/class. She treated drug addiction like a sex kink.

The plots are refreshing and thrilling and the movie itself has one of the best paces I recently experienced in a movie.
It was best described rollercoast slow ascendts and quik descents. I loved it. Parasito in english. SOME POINTS ONLY NOTICED BY KOREANS The Korean title of Parasite (기생충) is Ki Seng Chung. The poor family son, daughter and father's names are Ki Woo, Ki Jung and Ki Taek. Part of their names have part of the word Parasite in it. I think there was a conscious effort because you never have father and son/daughter have the same middle name. It's just not done. The black noodle dish in the movie called RamDon (made up name for translation-actual called Champagetti) is a combination of. 60 instant noodle and the most expensive Wagyu beef of Korea. This is a combination of extreme ingredients. There must me a metaphor there. The poor dad being coached how to act by the poor son was an inside joke for Koreans. Kang-Ho Song (dad) is the Tom Hanks of Korea. Choi Woo-shik is just an up and coming actor.

This was the best independent movie ever and Bong Joon-Ho was a truly independent Korean filmmaker. Ever realize when da hye said its forbidden fruit she was forbidden fruit to ki woo. Parasyte the maxim soundtrack. “You know what kind of plan never fails?” “No plan at all.” “You know why?” “If you make a plan, life never works out that way.” “Best Lines”. This was a perfect montage. At this moment in the movie I was fully invested. I was smiling, laughing, intrigued, and I could keep up with the subtitles easily while watching the cinematography.

9k mang. Parásito in english. This was hands down the best movie Ive ever watched in my life. Every single second it gets better and weirder. I only saw the movie after it had won the Oscar and still had skepticism about winning 4 Oscars until I've finished watching it.   What a mind-blowing story!  I couldn't move for a while and I didn't know what to think of it. I'm gonna watch it again. 6:25 just realized how brilliant of a facial expression this actor conveyed in this scene. absolutely horrific and hilarious.

Parasite is the best movie of the year. This Korean movie won the renowned Palme d'Or of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. It has been selected as the South Korean entry for Best International Feature Film at the ninety-second Academy Awards.

This movie combines multiple genres such as comedy, drama, horror, thriller and tragedy. The main theme is the clash between rich and poor in the Republic of Korea. This conflict has been the main topic in other great films such as The Housemaid and The Taste of Money. Parasite however is less cumbersome, melodramatic and moralizing and convinces with wit, depth and creativity instead.

International audiences might feel slightly confused by this unusual genre mixture at first contact but this is exactly what makes this movie so unique. The story starts in a dramatic way and portrays a poor family who lives in a small semi-basement apartment and struggles to make ends meet. The movie gets more comedic when the son of said family gets the unexpected opportunity to replace a friend as English tutor for the beautiful daughter of a wealthy family. The film turns into a thriller when the four family members gradually infiltrate and even replace the personnel of the wealthy family with ethically questionable procedures. The movie turns into a horror film when the family realizes that the family mansion hides a creepy secret as things gradually spin out of control. The film ends as an almost surreal tragedy that will leave the audience speechless. Parasite is a movie the leaves a lasting impression, offers much food for thought and should animate philosophical discussions. The movie is so detailed, precise and profound that it deserves to be purchased to be watched time and again.

I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to watch this movie in French in a Canadian cinema and so were the numerous other members of the audience in the packed movie theatre. People are craving for a change and are tired of tame, predictable and repetitive Hollywood superhero prequels, remakes and sequels. There should be more creative, dynamic and entertaining international movies like Parasite in movie theatres all around the world. If you desire to make a statement in favour of cinema as an artistic expression rather than shallow entertainment, do yourself a favour and enjoy this incredible movie on the big screen. This movie has the potential to become a cult classic and deserves all the praise it gets.

This movie just making history as the first foreign movies to win best picture at oscars. I really like when the Dad of the family killed is boss. I loved the part wherein she dumped the whole ass bag of peaches to that maid i was shookt and laughing at the same time. I needed to sleep on everything and think about it all last night. I'm still not done thinking. This movie was so incredibly brilliant. Smooth, natural, high tension. It changes tones completely at least 4 times, and every bit of cinematography in this movie is perfect. The music, subtle enough in scenes and whimsical, makes the entire scene turns sour when just that subtle violin or another abrasive string plays quietly, a single instrument shifts the scenes color completely. No loose ends in this movie, and every person here feels like a real and genuine human you might find on shameless, or at times it felt like Veep or Parks and rec with how characters talk to each other, very down to earth and relatable. This movie is beyond engaging, delivering funny lines perfectly, while other times perfectly capturing the moment of horror and fear. This movie is a must watch, it's hard not to appreciate the work and ideas put into this film after viewing it. 11/10 Recommend.

Beauty of Parasite? How did you upload the entire movie on YouTube. Parasite cast. I was half-expecting him to say “Its so metaphorical” when Bong asked him why the rock was important. And Im kind of disappointed lol. Have you noticed the painting of Da-song, the one hanging on the wall, it looks like geun-sae, the husband of the housekeeper moon -gwang and behind him is the indian tent of the boy on a sunny morning. and there's a yellow upward arrow on the top of the tent that indicates that geun-sae will go up and show up at the boy's party and will do a hideous crime which is the black abstract part of the painting at the lower right corner. or maybe the yellow arrow, for them, indicates that da song's dad will die and go to heaven because there's a black man shape object beside the arrow that seems ascending to heaven. Da-song's second painting, the one given to Jessica, shows geun-sae with a bloody forehead holding a knife which is actually what he looks like at the climax of the movie. 😎😎 What a brilliant movie.
